In 2018, Françoise Dupré shifted her focus away from tracing lace and developed installations that combine drawings and stitching with objects, needlework and textiles from the artist parent’s home in France. Two installations were realised à l’anglaise (Madeira) and Tissu provençal.

Stitches: closed herringbone stitch with loop (Constance Howard reconfiguration) and French seam (double seam)/Point d’arête avec boucle and couture anglaise (couture double). Embroidery and joining stitches.
